Slowed Down Sci-Fi

A recent meme took the 'nets by storm, with a Justin Bieber song slowed down 800%. Now, I don't care how "good" it might sound, or how much an improvement over the original it may be, but it'll be a cold day in Hell before I post anything by Justin Beiber, no matter how mixed it may be.

But here's a variation on that theme that really sounds good - sci-fi classics slowed down 800%. Great electronica results!

Everywhere I Go is a song from Lissie's debut full length album, Catching A Tiger, which is a solid collection of folk/rock/pop songs powered by Lissie's unique, powerful vocals. Here she is live in a duet with Ellie Goulding:

No, not a song, but a full album worth of visceral images from Robert Rodriquez, whose Mexico Trilogy (El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico) is truly a ballet of violence. Machete looks to be equally outrageous:

Music Enthusiast site

Interesting little web site that does a sort of mashup using Google Maps and some concert info. Type in an artist and it shows you all the upcoming concerts on a map. It also helpfully lists some YouTube music videos with that artist. Nice concept, needs more features (of course!).

• Should, of course, have a Tweet This button for the artist you are looking at
• But it also needs an easy way to share a particular link for the artist search
